Change of Address Causes Voting Confusion in Monroe County

Some people waited in line - only to learn they couldn't vote where they usually do.
Since the last presidential election, the county gave many people new addresses so emergency responders could find houses better.
But everyone's new information didn't make it into the voting system.
So when some people showed up to vote - officials told them they had to vote somewhere else.
The elections director said it's important for you to make sure the election office has the new address that the county assigned to you.
