Pine Bluff Mayoral Election Stays on November Ballot

Circuit Judge Jay Moody has released his written ruling for why Pine Bluff's mayoral election should be held this November.
In a court hearing Wednesday, Moody ruled the election should go ahead as planned.
Current Mayor Carl Redus requested the court delay the election until 2014, or the mid-term cycle, based on population requirements.
Moody's ruling, however, finds Pine Bluff is locked into the presidential election cycle, based on a state law from 1967.
