Pence to Visity Evansville Thursday

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: March 14, 2012
Republican candidate for Indiana Governor, Mike Pence, will make a stop in Evansville on Thursday, March 15th.

Pence will visit Peabody Coal as part of a Jobs Tour.

"Job creation must be job one for the next Governor of Indiana", Pence said.  This 'Jobs Tour' is built on my belief that the best ideas for Indiana come from Indiana.  "As we work to put the finishing touches on our jobs plan, I believe it is essential that we first listen to Hoosiers who are creating jobs in the city and on the farm."

Pence will visit six counties on Thursday, including the stop in Evansville.  While visiting Peabody Coal, the Gubernatorial Candidate will hold a roundtable discussion with local business leaders.
