Lewisburg, Union County - Two congressmen from Pennsylvania came together Monday night in Union County to speak with constituents about their concerns with the upcoming primary election.

With the Presidential primary election quickly approaching in the Keystone State, now just about 6 weeks away, lawmakers like Congressmen Lou Barletta and Tom Marino are making their rounds to get the Republican message out saying the Obama administration's policies are not working.

Republican Congressman Lou Barletta of the 11th district said, "unemployment has been the highest it's been since he's been in office. It's been over 8% more people have lost their homes. The price of gas was $1.83, it's now nearing $4 a gallon."

Monday night both Barletta and Marino spoke in Lewisburg at the Susquehanna Valley conservative meeting. They believe with several GOP contenders in the race to the White House it's only makes things better for the voter.

Republican Congressman Tom Marino of the 10th district said,

It's a good thing because the american people can look at the individuals look touch and feel them and find out exactly where they stand on issues."

The men say the biggest issues in PA are no different than those across the country.

The economy jobs and the price at the pump.

No republican president has become president without winning PA .

The Pennsylvania Primaries is on Tuesday April 24th along with Connecticut, Delaware, New York and Rhode Island.
