Clovis Election Results 2012

CLOVIS -- The City of Clovis will have a new mayor.

Challenger David Lansford beat Mayor Gayle Blumfield with 63-percent of the vote. 

When early voting came in, Lansford had 61-percent of the vote and a lead that he didn't give up. 

In District 1, Janice Elliott went up against Randall Crowder. Crowder won with 66-percent of the vote. 

In District 2, Sandra Taylor-Sawyer beat John Jones with 56-percent of the vote. 

In District 3, Robert Sandoval ran unopposed. 

In District 4, R.L. "Rube" Render lost to Chris Bryant. Bryant received 57-percent of the vote. 

In the only question on the ballot, the voters overwhelmingly voted for the restriction of dual commissioners.
