This hot and humid weather is setting the stage for a few showers and storms. Strong to severe storms are possible with heavy downpours and gusty winds this evening. I'm expecting another uncomfortable night with lows in the 60s.

Tomorrow won't be nearly as hot because we'll have a lot of clouds here. Plus, we'll be in and out of rain and thunderstorms. Once again, heavy downpours and gusty winds are possible. This rain is part of a cold front that will bring much cooler weather for the holiday weekend.

By Friday, highs will be near 60 with a lot of clouds and more showers. We may see a shower linger into Saturday with another cool afternoon on the way. Sunday and Memorial Day don't look all that bad. The rain will go away and temperatures will warm up to near 70.
