Laflin, Luzerne County- State and local police converged on Saint Josephs Oblate's Seminary in Laflin Tuesday afternoon after receiving a report that a man may have walked into the building with a gun.
The building includes class rooms for elementary and pre-school students was locked down
This after a man was spotted walking through the halls..with what appeared to be a gun holster...
It turns out the man was there looking to give confession to a priest. That man left the building..and returned in the evening looking for a priest..unaware of the concern he caused..

"No weapons were found on his person or in is vehicle.. he was wearing  a back brace which viewed stuck out fro his jacket as described by witnesses did appear to be consistent with a holster."      said District .Attorney Stefanie Salavantis.                "

Father Dan Schwebs is Rector of Saint Joseph's Seminary. He says security has been increased at the seminary and no longer are doors open to the chapel.......He feels the staff did the right thing.

Father Schwebs knows the man who caused the commotion..

"He's know to us he came for confession once and a while that's what he was here for yesterday he just happened to be in the wrong place at wrong time no harm the way it is..hes a good person."
