Governor Tom Corbett on NCAA Sanctions

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY-PENNSYLVANIA GOVERNOR TOM CORBETT SURROUNED BY PENN STATE ALUMNI, CURRENT STUDENTS, FORMER PLAYERS AND BUSINESS OWNERS TOOK AIM TODAY AT THE NCAA. 
   NAMLEY THE SANCTIONS IT LEVELED AGAINST PENN STATE AS A RESULT OF THE JERRY SANDUSKY CHILD SEX SCANDAL..
  SANDUSKY, THE FORMER PENN STATE DEFENSIVE COACH WAS FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ABUSING 10 YOUNG BOYS.
SOME OF THE CRMES WERE COMMITTED ON  THE CAMPUS OF PENN STATE.  LEGENDARY COACH JOE PATERNO WAS FIRED AND THREE ADMINISTRATORS ARE ACCUSED OF COVERING UP ALLEGATIONS MADE AGAINST SANDUSKY..
  THE NCAA SANCTIONS INCLUDED A $60 MILLION DOLLAR FINE. THE MONEY TO BE USED TO FIGHT CHILD ABUSE AND SUPPORT VICTMS AROUND THE COUNTRY.  ALSO, THE BANNING OF PENN STATE FROM BOWL GAMES FOR FOUR YEARS AND THE STRIPPING OF 14 YEARS OF VICTORIES BY THE PENN STATE FOOTBALL TEAM..
    GOVEROR CORBETT TOOK AIM AT THE NCAA.
 "While the healing was taking place the NCAA piled on charges to levy in their words unprecendented sanctions aganst Penn State and its football program." said Governor Corbett

CORBETT SAYS THE SANCTION WILL HURT PEOPLE WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SANDUSKY CRIMES OR THE ALLEGED COVER-UP BY CERTAIN UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATORS..

"These sanctons did not punish Sandusky nor did they punish the others who had been criminally charged rather they punished the past the present the future students, the community ..local businesses and the citizens of Pennsylvania'.
