"He does not like to talk about it, but us players we always like to talk about it."
They call him CI, for "Coach Insinger". Loyalsock Township Boys Basketball Head Coach Ron Insinger needs just one more win to reach 800 victories posted over a 38 year career.

"Obviously reaching the milestone is something that I am proud of, but I did not win those 800 games, my players won those 800 games and I have to give all of them credit. I have to give the volunteers, the assistant coaches, the parents credit for giving me the 800 wins."
His team faces Mid Valley in the state tournament. As they work hard for their coach, the player say state playoff games are the perfect stage to play out their coach's run at the state record.
Roger Wilson Center
"Great coach, he may not talk about it much, it's definitely in the back of our minds. And to get eight hundred as a Pennsylvania High School coach, that is unheard of."
Kyle Datres Guard
"CI is a great guy and he has our back no matter what. Getting eight hundred will be a big deal especially with the record being 802. Hopefully we can do that for him this year."
To match CI's success, a new coach would have to average 21 wins, and only seven losses for the next 38 years, and yes with only one school, and no, CI's not finished yet.
"You know, how long I stay, I am still having fun, I enjoy every minute of it. The time flies by, the winters fly by. We do a lot in the summer with the kids. The passion is still there. As long as I have the passion I am going to be around."
