Former Dunmore Bucks defensive coordinator Vic Fangio is 60 minutes away from winning the Super Bowl. Fangio who is now the defensive coordinator of the 49er's will lead the NFL's third ranked defense into Super Bowl Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fangio began his coaching career under Dunmore Head Coach Jack Henzes as a linebackers coach and the defensive coordinator.

The Dunmore native has made numerous stops as a coach along the collegiate and NFL scene. He was the defensive coordinator for three NFL teams before joining Jim Harbaugh at Standford and then following Jim to the 49er's as he became their head coach before last season.
