Hazleton, Luzerne County-- Dr. Phil Benyo says he has never seen a flu outbreak like the one this year in his more than 5 decades of practicing medicine. Benyo said, " People had better get ready for what I call a "flunami' with symptom like headaches, coughs, high fever and  vomiting. People can still get a flu shot but it takes several days to kick in. I also recommend taking Tami-flu..it can stop flu in its tracks."

Phamacist John Keegan who owns Heights-Terrace Pharmacy says many of his customers are looking for a magic pill that does not exist. Keegan told Eyewitness News, "There are some over the counter products that can relieve the headaches and fever. I recommend people get a prescription for Tamiflu." Dr. Benyo and Keegan advise people to wash their hands and turn away from people who cough or sneeze.
