Gun Safety from a Certified Instructor

Sterling, Wayne County -- In the aftermath of the devastating elementary school shooting in Connecticut gun sales continue to sky rocket. While many are talking about new gun laws, none have been put into affect. Eyewitness News spoke to an instructor on what gun owners need to NRA certified gun instructor Sandy Kashpureff says that among other things it is crucial to remember to keep the gun unloaded until you are ready to shoot and alway have safe muzzle directions.

Kashpureff offers classes several times a month. The courses run eight hours and range from $140 to $175.
