Penn State Officials Were Part Of A Conspiracy Of Silence So Say Investigators

Harrisburg, Dauphin County--   Penn State University was the center of a "Conspiracy of Silence" involving Jerry Sandusky. A Grand Jury Indicted former PSU President Graham Spanier on charges including Perjury, Obstruction of Justice and Endangering the Welfare of Children for his alleged role in covering up the Sandusky crimes. State Attorney General Linda Kelly spoke at a news conference in Harrisburg Thursday and said, "This is not a mistake,an oversight or a misjudgment. This was a conspiracy of silence by top officials at Penn State,working to actively conceal the truth,with total disregard t the suffering of children."  Former Vice-President of Business and Finance Gary Schultz and former Athletic Director Tim Curley were indicted a year ago by a Grand Jury on Perjury and Failure to Report Charges. The were indicted against today on three additional charges. The face 39 years in  prison if convicted on these   counts. The three men are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Friday in Harrisburg.
