(From UGI)
Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County - Current weather predictions indicate Hurricane Sandyhas the potential to impact the UGI Electric Division service area as early as Sunday evening, October 28.

Customers are again reminded that Hurricane Sandy could bring high winds that may cause downed power lines and power outages. Sandy is also expected to bring significant amounts of rainfall that maylead to flooding.

Should you experience a power outage, please call UGI at 800-276-2722.

UGI has mobilized its Storm Response Team and is prepared to respond to storm-related service outages.

UGI's Electric Division has secured additional linemen and support personnel from as far away as
Wisconsin that will put more than 150 field personnel, as well as support staff in the field. These
additional crews will more than double our normal field resources.

If you depend on electric-powered medical equipment for life-support for yourself or a family member,
we recommend that you purchase a back-up power supply or arrange a plan to stay with family or friends.
