Allman Brothers Peach Music Festival on Montage Mountain.
The event continues Saturday and Sunday, August 10, 11 & 12, at the Toyota Pavilion and Sno Cove Water Park.
Bloomsburg Nationals powered by Carlisle Events August 10-12 at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
Great family entertainment, special displays and live music, including a Saturday afternoon set with regional favorites Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods.
Flamin' Dick is a Reading, Pennsylvania based group that specializes in 50's and 60's Rock-n-Roll.
August 11th-
On August 11, 2012 the Exeter Little League will be hosting an all day slow pitch softball tournament to benefit the John Anthony "Beno" Borzell/Fallen Warrior Scholarship Fund.
Coach Dave Kuharchik said WBRE/WYOU Softball team will be playing in this tournament:

Christy Mathewson Days:
The event honors baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and Factoryville native Christy Mathewson and brings together Keystone Junior and Factoryville for a weekend of family entertainment and civic pride.

The Black Bear Film Festival
A new kind of bear will soon be spotted in the streets of Milford- colorful, decorated, and hand-crafted! The Black Bear Film Festival is proud to announce that the Art Bears, created by local artisans, are back in town just in time to promote the 13th Annual Fall Film Festival. Join the bears for light refreshments on August 11th, between 10:30 am-1:30 pm, in the garden of the Milford Community house, or as we all know it the Milford Library lawn.
The Black Bear Film Festival began in Milford, PA, in 2000 when a small group of creative locals set out to produce an event that would support and promote innovate and independent films.

A fundraiser in honor of an East Stroudsburg University professor fighting breast cancer will be held from 4-10 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
The Lucy Fund, named after Lucy Stanovick, was started to help raise money for the National Foundation for Cancer Research to help the research metastatic cancer.

The Pauly Friedman 5K Family Walk Run which will take place on Sunday, August 12th at Misericordia.University's Anderson Sports Center at 9:30 AM.
The event hosted by the Family Service Association of Wyoming Valley raises funds to support our Help Line Program, a 24/7 information, referral and crisis service for Northeastern PA.
Irem Temple Announces Summer Concerts at Country Club
Come listen to some great entertainment at the County Club Pavilion, the concerts are held Sunday evenings at 7 pm.
August 12 - Orpheus Choral Society, Mixed chorus choral music
Hearts for Taylor- A benefit on August 12th from 5pm to 9pm at the VFW in Tobyhanna Pa. The benefit is for a little girl named Taylor Volpe who was involved in a serious car accident while visiting her grandmother in North Carolina on July 4th.
The 17th Annual Pocono Chicken Wing Off.
The event benefits the Meals on Wheels Program
The menu includes nearly fifty different flavors - including blueberry jalepeno and cherry cola barbecue.

Comics Cards Records TV & Movies Expo
at the American Legion Post 851 Dingmans Ferry
A Multi Media Memoribilia and Nostalgia Expo. Comic books, Sports cards, gaming cards and entertainment cards will be featured.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Bald Eagle to visit Hawk Mountain on Saturday, August 25
Visit Hawk Mountain Sanctuary on "Bald Eagle Migration Day," Saturday, August 25, and see a live Bald Eagle up close and personal during a noon-time presentation by Carbon County Environmental Center. This free presentation will be held in the outdoor amphitheater, or indoors in the event of rain.
Camelbeach is hosting a Duck Race for the United Way.
It's Saturday August 18th. You buy a rubber duckie that competes in a race.
The owners of the top three ducks will get prizes.
Safe Haven Pet Rescue will hold an Adoption Day on Sunday, August 19 at Tractor Supply, Route 209, Brodheadsville.
Safe Haven will have many beautiful young dogs available for you to meet and get to know. Safe Haven requires a Pre Adoption Application with references and a home visit prior to adoption.
