Olympic Run Ends For Casey Eichfeld From Drums

The Olympic run for Drums native Casey Eichfeld's came to an end on Sunday. 

Eichfeld was unable to move on to the semi-finals in the Men's Canoe Single Heats.

The 22-year-old finished 10th in the first run with a time of 97.04 and 12th in the second run with a time of 102.02. His overall rank was 14, two spots out of the final qualifying spot which belonged to Australia's Maley Kynan.

Eichfeld was just 14-years-old when he began competing internationally for the junior national team

This year he was the only United States participant in the Men's Canoe Single competition.
