Teen Says He Is Sorry for Twitter Threat

Scranton, Lackawanna County-Torre Scrimalli of Scranton admits he posted a threat on twitter..and he is sorry for it.
 
"I learned a good lesson anything on the internet site is there for good."

Scrimalli--a senior at Scranton Prep High School-- admits he threatened to blow up Holy Cross High School in Dunmore and Mid-Valley High School in Throop..the tweet was posted during a Monday night basketball game between the arch rivals...The gym in Throop was evacuated and security increased at both schools Tuesday morning.

 
"I just want to say I'm very sorry I had no intentions on scaring anyone or bringing violence into this it was supposed o be a harmless tweet." said Scrimalli

Prosecutors hope this case..his arrest will send a loud and clear message to others.


"I think it sends a message to our community especially our younger community teenagers if you make a threat on twitter or Facebook there are ramifications to that and we'll take that very very seriously."" said Gene Riccardo, Lackawanna County Deputy District Attorney.
