Friday morning started off about 9 A.M. as the jury, Jerry and Dottie Sandusky and family, and Joe Amendola arrived at the Centre County Courthouse.
The jury requested to have the testimonies of Mike McQueary and Johnathan Dranov reread to them Thursday evening. Friday morning, the Prosecution reread McQueary's testimony and the Defense followed with a reread of Johnathan Dranov's testimony.
The jury then continued deliberating throughout the afternoon.
A question came about late afternoon Friday regarding the definition of "excited utterance" and "circumstantial evidence." The question regarded Accuser #8, counts 36 to 40. Hearsay evidence is not enough to reach a conviction or excited utterance. Hard evidence or circumstantial evidence needs to be found.
The alleged incident relates to hearsay evidence from a janitor who is unable to testify.
Stay tuned with us for updates as we await the jury's verdict in the Sandusky trial.
