BELLFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY - On Wednesday, Presiding Judge John Cleland told the perspective jurors that testimony in the trial of Jerry Sandusky is going to start on Monday, June 11th.  The Judge added that the Court anticipates that the criminal trial will take at most three weeks and that the proceedings are expected to wrap up before the end of June.

The Judge was addressing a large group of potential jurors in the Centre County Courthouse at the time.  This was before they moved on to the second stage of jury selection that would involved specific questioning about conflicts that could keep them from being seated on the jury panel.  The Judge appeared very confident that the entire jury panel would be seated in a timely manner according to the pool reporter covering the judge's remarks.
