Moosic, Lackawanna County- Even the freezing cold temperatures didn't stop hundreds of diehard baseball fans from coming out to P-N-C Field - Saturday - to get a sneak peak on the 43-million dollar renovation project.

"I'm very impressed. I like the improvement better than it was before and I definitely would come to one maybe a couple games this season."

Bob Pearson hasn't been to the stadium in Moosic since the Red Barons played there - but that's exactly the type of person the Railriders are hoping to bring back to the ball park this year.

"That's what we're really working hard on our staff is working diligently to bring back that excitement bring back the enthusiasm." said Rob Crain, The President and General Manager of the Railriders

Amanda Lance of Throop has been a season ticket holder for five years... She says the best part of the new stadium is the openness.

"It was so hard before to go and run and get a hot dog in the middle of an inning and now I can just go whenever i want to and not miss a thing."

During the event balloons signifies a seat that's still available for a season ticket option.

And with the strike of a gong - another season ticket is sold.

"People can literally go say I like this seat and take the balloon its theirs we make a big deal we clap we yell we do all kinds of fun stuff and they can garb their season ticket package here at PNC field." said Crain

Work started on the stadium last April and opening day is April 4th... But crews say they are on schedule and on budget... With 360 degree views to the suites and lawn seating - everyone says this is exactly what the Railriders needed.

"I am highly impressed I've been up to Cinemark to check on the progress but to be actually in the stadium and see it firsthand it blows my mind!" added

"It is awesome that they now have a stadium that matches there level of performance."
