Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County-  It had to happen sooner or later -- and in the case of the recently completed coal street road widening project in Wilkes-barre   it's sooner.
Utility crews had to punch holes in the pavement along coal street near meade street.
The reason -- a four-inch Pennsylvania American Water company service line burst this morning.
The broken pipe affected service to people living at Interfaith Apartments.
They went without water for about two-hours before crews completed repairs.
