Investigation Intensifies Into Death Of 80 Year Old Woman In Milton

Milton, Northumberland County--  Police in Northumberland County say 80 year old Vennie Boyles was found dead in her home at 8 Park Lane in Milton Sunday and now they want to speak with her son who lived in the same home. Investigators are looking for 55 year old Mark Boyles and call him a "person of interest"in the death of his mother. An autopsy is set for Tuesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital which is expected to shed some light as to the cause and manner of death. At this point in time Mrs. Boyles death is classified as suspicious. Eyewitness News spoke with the Son-in-Law of Mrs. Boyles. He did not want to appear on camera but said, "Vennie was a sweet --dear woman who wanted to give her son a second chance. His behavior has begun to deteriorate over the past several week and many family members stayed away from him." Neighbor Mary Bailey said, "I think many people here are afraid because we don't know what happened..we are a bit leery."  Milton Police say they want to hear from anyone who may know the whereabouts of Mark Boyles--he has not been accused of any crime.
