36-year-old Jason Slavish of Luzerne was critically injured Saturday afternoon when production was down during a regularly scheduled maintenance program.
He died a short time later at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock.
Slavish was a 14-year employee at P&G who served as a manufacturing process coach.
Grief counselors will be on site at the plant this week to help any of the 2,200 member staff cope with the tragedy.
