Schultz Requests Dismissal of Charges

Another key figure in the Penn State sex abuse scandal has asked for dismissal of charges filed against him.

Former Penn State administrator Gary Schultz has requested a judge drop perjury charges filed against him related to the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal.

He filed the motion in court Tuesday-- just one day after former athletic director Tim Curley did the same.

The 62-year-old Schultz-- who served as a vice-president at Penn State-- says the state attorney general hasn't shown any evidence he lied about the Sandusky sex abuse allegations.

Schultz quickly retired after he was charged with perjury late last year.
