Harrisburg, Dauphin County-- Former Penn State Coach Joe Paterno was part of an alleged cover-up of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse crimes so say investigators. But those same investigators would not comment on whether or not the late legendary coach would have been charged. State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan told Eyewitness News, "We have the three men who are responsible for this cover-up .It would be in poor taste to specuate or comment on the possibility of a man who is now dead being charged." Attorney General Linda Kellly echoed Noonan's comments, "she said at a news conference..." Paterno is dead and is not part of this presentment." Spanier, and former Vice-President of Business and Finance Gary Schultz and former Athletic Director Tim Curley are accused of actively concealing the allegations made against Sandusky and failing to report the allegations to authorities. They are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Friday in Harrisburg. They face 39 years in prison if convicted on these counts.
