Local photographer hosts first solo gallery showing in King's Widmann Gallery

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County-Lawrence Lang of Shickshinny will display a variety of landscape and macro photographs in an exhibition titled, "A Closer Look," in King's College Widmann Gallery from Monday, Feb. 25, through Friday, April 5.
The King's exhibit will be Lang's first solo gallery showing. A Northwest Area High School graduate, Lang earned an associate's degree in broadcast communications and is currently completing the photography certificate program at Luzerne County Community College.

Lang will discuss his craft during a meet-the-artists reception from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 15, in the Widmann Gallery, Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, located between North Franklin and North Main streets.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Gallery is closed on national holidays and during scheduled breaks throughout the academic year.
