Tunkhannock, Wyoming County - The Governor's proposed budget has a lot of people questioning how his transportation agenda will affect prices at the pump.  While there's no definitive answer yet, some projections say his 5 year plan could add upwards of 20 cents onto each gallon.

It seems to be the never ending battle at the pump and many feel the consumer always loses.  Nate Wilcox says he drives a lot for work and his bank account notices anytime gas prices soar, "I drive a lot and another 20 cents on top of what $3.75?  Yeah that could hurt."

Governor Tom Corbett unveiled his proposed 2013-2014 budget Tuesday and many eyes are on his transportation plan.  Its two fold; he's pushing to drop the liquid fuels tax by two-cents over the next two years as well as increase the wholesale tax that gas stations pay on gas.

Governor Tom Corbett said in his speech in Harrisburg, "It is time for oil and gas companies to pay their fair share of the cost of the infrastructure supporting their industry."

Critics of the plan are concerned fuel companies will pass part of that new tax load onto consumers.  Some projections say that could raise prices at the pump as much as 20 cents a gallon.  Hannah Cave is a student working part time.  She says she can't afford to pump anymore money into her tank, "It's going to be hard.  You're going to have to work so much more and its going to be so expensive."

Governor Tom Corbett says his transportation plan, over several years, will raise billions of dollars which could be used to fix the state roads and bridges.
