I-Team: Baby Death Investigation In Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- .the I-Team has confirmed that Wilkes-Barre Police and the Luzerne County District Attorney's office  are investigating the death of a 7 month old girl.
  At this point the baby's death is being called "suspicious"...
   Here's what the I-Team's Andy Mehalshick has learned  from sources close to the case as well as court documents. The baby was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley on January fourth.   
     The child had severe head injuries-including a skull fracture  and multiple fractures of the ribs.  The baby was flown to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where she died on January 7th. Search warrants were filed today  with a district judge seeking medical records for the child.
