Nanticoke, Luzerne County- An active meth lab was discovered in a home in the 300 block of East Washington Street around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. The chief of police said officers were first dispatched to the address for reports of a stabbing. As of Tuesday's news deadline, police were still trying to account for the two victims reportedly stabbed or slashed, according to the police chief. The incident led to the evacuation of more than half a dozen homes on East Washington. There was no word when people would be allowed back. Police confirmed they had taken the owner of the home where the meth lab was found into custody. It's unclear if she'll face any charges.
