Williamsport, Lycoming County-Hockey season is over for a central Pennsylvania team.

Eyewitness news has learned the Williamsport Outlaws professional hockey team ceased operations this morning.
After last night's game was canceled.. a meeting was called with team members this morning.
Neither the team's owner nor manager attended the meeting.. instead the players received a call from the manager.
They were told to get their stuff.. and that they were done.
Poor attendance and financial reasons are being blamed.
The federal hockey league is currently discussing whether the outlaws players will be sent to other teams or whether each player be allowed to become a free agent.
