Wilkes-Barre Department of Health Recommends Flu Vaccination

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County - Flu activity in the region is widespread. The City of Wilkes-Barre Health Department recommends that people receive a flu shot as one of the best ways to protect themselves and others from the flu virus.

A free seasonal flu clinic will be held Friday, January 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kirby Health Center 71 N. Franklin Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

Target age groups:

1. Age 2 to 18 - Nasal Influenza Vaccine

2. Age 65 and older - High Dose Influenza Vaccine

To schedule an appointment please call the Wilkes-Barre City Health Department at 570-208-4268. Walk-ins are also welcome.
