Allentown, Lehigh County- We are in the midst of a nasty flu season!
So the staff at Leigh valley health network in Allentown came up with a unique approach to handing flu patients.
   A flu tent.
The tent triage is about 11-hundred square feet of space, capable of treating six patients at a time.
There's a staff of three, with immediate access to an doctor who's just inside the e-r.
Officials with the Leigh Valley Health network say treating flu patients inside the triage tent is a more effective way to beat back the illness, while limiting its spread.
The tent will be open everyday during the flu season.

The State Department of Health has a webpage dedicated to the flu.  Click Here for more information
