MPB Community Players to Present "Our Christmas Gift"

Hazleton, Luzerne County-The MPB Community Players will open a series of Christmas programs on Wednesday with a production at Catholic Social Services Family Center (the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church), 106 S. Church St., Hazleton. The program, entitled "Our Christmas Gift," is free of charge, although a good will donation will be collected at the door to benefit Catholic Social Services. The program will feature lively and moving religious music, a short play, and a nativity. The program at C.S.S. gets underway at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

If you are unable to attend the show, there will be two additional performances at two different venues later this week. The same program will also be presented on Sunday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 N. Church St., and later that same day, at 7:30 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Church, 4th & Seybert Sts. Donations collected at those locations will benefit that venue.

MPB Players' Christmas Program this Week at three Venues. Church St., at 7:30 p.m. The pageant will also be presented Sunday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church and at 7:30 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Church.
