Homicide Victim Found in Crashed Car

Plains Township, Luzerne County -- A Wilkes-Barre man who was found shot to death in front of a motel. 

Police were called Friday night just after 7:30 in Plains Township to the Red Roof Inn along Route 315.

They found 27-year-old Leslie Smith inside car that had just been in a crash at the entrance to the motel.

Smith was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the car and died at the scene.

Smith's killer remains on the run.
