East Stroudsburg, Monroe County-  The East Stroudsburg Salvation Army reports people are posing as a salvation army volunteers.
They're knocking on doors in the East Stroudsburg area and asking people to donate to sandy relief.
The Salvation Army does not have any workers or volunteers who go door-to-door collecting money for disaster victims.
They also do not ask for donations over the phone.
If you would like to give to the salvation army, go to one of their offices.
