Raising Cold Hard Cash for Charity

Mountain Top, Luzerne County- Damenti's Restaurant and Ice Bar invites non-profit organizations to host their fundraisers in a unique setting.
Beautiful, handcrafted ice sculptures surround the bar with decorative lights and a fire pit for cold hands.
Every night the bar donates half of the proceeds to the Palermo Heart-to-Heart Foundation, and the other half to another charity.
"You appreciate the artwork that the guys do, you talk to other people that are raising money to try to help the community, and you get a sense of awareness about what our non-profit is doing and what other non-profits in Luzerne County are doing." said David Palermo, of the Heart to Heart Foundation.
Anyone interested in supporting the charities can stop by Tuesday through Sunday.
