Hazleton, Luzerne County - As fire was burning on the front porch of her home on South Vine Street, a Hazleton woman, Christine  and her mother Carol quickly put the fire out.  They  did not want to show their faces on camera fearing for their own safety...
Sometime  just before 2 am Monday someone poured gasoline one the front porch and set it on fire.
Christine saw flashes of light coming through the front windows..

"I thought it was a cop car in thought something was happening across the street when I opened the door the first thing I thought about was my son and everybody else in the house.I have to do something I couldn't wait for the cops."

She dumped pots of water on the flames.   Four children ages 8 months..2,4 and 8 years of age were sleeping inside along with a disabled elderly man.  Carol still can't believe they were targeted..by someone for some unknown reason..

"I just want to know who did it and why? We don't know anybody in this town. I've been here a year and a half we don't know anybody i don't know what started it and why!"

Any one with information is asked to call Hazleton Police.
