Scranton, Lackawanna County - A company from Lackawanna County has a lot riding on the Super Bowl this weekend.
If the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers, Kevin's Wholesale LLC in Scranton has been selected by NIKE to print the Super Bowl champion t-shirts.
Employees know there is a lot of work riding on the game.
"It's very exciting. We're all happy to be involved. It means a lot of work for us," screen print supervisor Jason Reynolds said.
If the Baltimore Ravens win, a team of 15 workers will work all night Sunday into Monday to produce the Super Bowl champion T-shirts so they can be in stores within hours.
"From my perspective, it's incredibly prestigious," Scott Tinkelman the Vice President of Sales & Marketing said. "It's a great talking point for clients, both current clients and prospective clients."
The company isn't allowed to say exactly how many shirts would be printed or show the design but they say their shirts would go all over the East Coast.
"It's amazing to be able to do something for the NFL. It's exciting," employee Luis Harrston said.
Kevin's Wholesale has been in business for 19 years. Eleven have been at their current location on Capouse Avenue in Scranton.
Workers say whatever their personal feelings, there is only one team they're rooting for Sunday.
"I'm going to be a Ravens fan this weekend," Reynolds said.
If the Ravens win, employees say the first truck with t-shirts would leave their facility at 2:00 AM Monday morning.
