Here is some history about the The Roat House:  It was the home of the late Harry C. and Agnes Baldwin Roat family who owned and operated the former Roat Hardware and Supply Company in Kingston. The late Arthur Roat, son of Harry Roat and a 1909 graduate of Wyoming Seminary, died in 1988 and bequeathed the house to Wyoming Seminary, who took ownership of it in 1989. The house has been used as faculty housing since 1989.

The family will be able to move into the home by Christmas
