Long Gas Lines in NEPA because of Storm-Related Gas Crisis

One of the problems for drivers from New Jersey coming to the Poconos was finding a gas station where there was plenty of gas and limited lines. Some traveled a decent distance to take advantage of shorter lines at the WaWa at Blakeslee Corners. "It took a whole quarter of a tank to get out to here to get filled up." Eli Rogers of Montclair, NJ saw gas station issues the whole way from his northeastern New Jersey home. "From I-80 out and around Dover out to here either no power at the gas station or else there was a huge long line."
Kevin McCambridge of Wantage, NJ witnessed plenty of lines on his car trip west. "Yeah, you know waiting two, three hours in Jersey and Stroudsburg -- there's a good ten cars in line." He couldn't be happier to stumble upon a place where there's little wait. "Right here it's like a little oasis. It's okay with me."
Debbie Alpaugh reflected on the gas problems that exist near her home in central New Jersey in Freehold. "You know, there's no gas anywhere." She and her son, David, are traveling through the area and are relieved to have few hassles filling up here. "I'm very happy to get it. Very happy. Um, I see a lot of people even putting, getting their gas tanks and putting it in their car so it might not be a bad idea."
The WaWa in Blakeslee got another fuel delivery on Thursday. The store manager there says there'll be plenty of gas for drivers this weekend.
