Forty Fort, Luzerne County -- Candy's Place is at it again, helping those battling cancer.

This coming Monday, October 29th, the center for cancer wellness will host Lori Prashker-Thomas, a photographer associated with the "I Picture Hope" campaign. It typically provides free photo shoots for women battling breast cancer, but Lori is opening her upcoming photo shoot to anyone who is battling or survived any type of cancer. She's offering photo shoots at Candy's Place Monday beginning at noon. Lori happens to be a stage four breast cancer fighter.

Joanne Chmiola, owner of Shear Attraction in Plains, is a breast cancer survivor, and "Look Good, Feel Better" program instructor. She'll be there all day preparing the ladies for the shoot with hair and makeup.

If you'd like to call to sign up or get more information for a loved one, you can call Candy's Place at 570-714-8800, click here for their Facebook page, or head to their web site. You must register for this event in advance.
