Route 54 Closed at Crash Scene In Northumberland County

Motorists in Northumberland County are advised that Route 54 is closed at the scene of a two-vehicle crash between Route 61 at Strong and Park Avenue in Mount Carmel Township.
Route 54 traffic will be detoured onto Route 61, 6th Street (Kulpmont) and Park Avenue.
Emergency responders anticipate the road will be closed into the evening hours.
Motorists are advised to plan extra time for their travels or consider alternate routes.
