Monroe County Couple Found Not Guilty on All Charges

Monroe County-   A Monroe County Jury has returned a not guilty verdict in the case of Cassandra Smith and Christopher Hickler.  They were facing nine charges after a teen accused them of giving  her drugs, alcohol and then having sex with her on two occasions.
    This allegedly happened in Pocono Summit in the summer of 2011.
The couple invited a troubled 13 year old from the Bronx to stay with them.
    The couple says says it was going so well the teen wanted to stay with couple.
  But six months later, the teen told her mother-a story of sex, drugs and alcohol.
  Dozens of  people were in the courtroom supporting Smith and Hickler
The alleged victim and her family were not in court today.
    Late this afternoon the jury found the couple not guilty on all charges.
