Bloomsburg Police Offer Parking Ticket Amnesty

Bloomsburg, Columbia County- Effective Friday, February 1, 2013 until Thursday, February 28, 2013, any person with an unpaid parking ticket citation dated 2012 or older will be eligible to pay the cost of the ticket at the Bloomsburg Police Department.
    If you have an unpaid ticket you can stop by the Bloomsburg Police Department between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday through Friday
   . Any person with a delinquent parking ticket will be able to settle this debt by paying $30 or $35, depending on the cost of the original ticket. Once the tickets are satisfied at the Bloomsburg Police Department, the citation issued through the District Magistrate's Office will be withdrawn along with any outstanding warrant for that citation.   

Bloomsburg Police say you are not eligible if: The original ticket is dated in 2013 .The parking ticket has previously been pled on at the District Magistrate's Office. A person is making payments on the fine and fees to the District Magistrate's Office
