Here are some Weekend Highlights:

WYOU-TV will broadcast the NCAA Division II Football Playoff game between Bloomsburg University and Shippensburg University this Saturday November 17th beginning at 12pmEST. The game will be anchored by Eyewitness News Sports Director Phil Schoener.

Both teams boast a substancial number of players who graduated from High School in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. The Bloomsburg Huskies' lineup features 24 local players, while the Shippensburg Radiers include 11 local players.

The local high schools represented on the teams include Shikellamy, Pocono , Mt West, Jersey Shore, Central Mountain, Northwest Area, Selinsgrove , Mt. Carmel, Bloomsburg, Lakeland, Berwick, Hazleton, Coughlin, Blue Mountain, Delaware Valley, Line Mountain, Abington Heights, Jim Thorpe and Pottsville.




Then, Join Sports Director Phil Schoener for the "Chevy Sports Saturday" on  Saturday,  November 17 at 11:30 p.m. on WYOU.  All your High School and College Football action plus much more!!!

  The Annual Christmas  parade in Wilkes-Barre begins at 3:15 on Satuday, November 17. A number of events are being held in downtown Wilkes-Barre beginning at noon.
