Celebrate Christmas in Schuylkill County

Everyone is invited to come and enjoy Christkindlemarkt at the Yuengling Mansion.  The event is hosted by the Schuylkill County Council for the Arts and Vision's Block of Art.  This is the fourth annual German Christmas Market.  Visitors will experience an old world Christmas as they stroll through the beautifully decorated Yuengling Mansion and grounds.  There will be a number of beautiful and unique gifts available for purchase.

    Christkindlmarkt will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December 1st and from 11 am to 6 pm on December 2nd.

Mud and Maker Gallery on 6 South Centre Street will also be part of this unique Christmas Experience in Schuylkill County.  Offering beautiful art and seasonal gifts and decorations. 

    In nearby Schuylkill Haven an Old Fashioned Christmas on Main Street will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1st from 9 am to 5 pm.  The Greater Schuylkill Haven Business Association and local businesses are teaming up for a day of holiday fun.  There will be horse drawn carriage rides, carolers , crafts and more.  The theme of the day is a Victorian Christmas. Visitors will be transported back to the Victorian era for a wonderful Holiday experience for the young and young at heart.

The Walk In Art Center located at 110 West Columbia Street will host an open house on December 1st from 1 pm to 6 pm   Unique art items will be available for sale. Children will also have the opportunity to put their artist talents to work with a special art project.  Light refreshments will be available.

    The Arts Barn Gallery will also be part of this holiday event.  The Gallery is located on 3 Berry Road in Schuylkill Haven will be open on Dec. 1 and Dec 2 from noon to five.  Two galleries are inside featuring over 60 artisans from across the Commonwealth,
