Two-year-old drowns in Swoyersville

Swoyersville, Luzerne County- Luzerne County 911 supervisors confirm reports a two-year-old child drowned in a home in the 200 block of Warsaw Street earlier tonight.

A supervisor tells Eyewitness News police crews were still at the scene, some five hours after the calls for help were first made.

Details of how the drowning happened have not yet been released. A supervisor at the dispatch center said the drowning happened at 5:05 p.m..
