Walk through Bethlehem

By: Jayne Ann Bugda
Updated: November 30, 2012

A unique Christmas experience will be held  in Mill Hall, Clinton County.  The Mill Hall Church of Christ is presenting the Fourth Annual Walk through Bethlehem.

Visitors can witness a mock Bethlehem village at the time of Jesus' birth.  Enjoy  the sights, sounds, and smells of the Bethlehem market and shops: the tanner, the carpenter, the fisherman, the potter, the smith.

It is a great way to get people into the spirit of Christmas.

Church members have turned the side yard of the church into a walled Little Town of Bethlehem.   The men of the church have built 77 4x8 panels to serve as walls and the Central Mountain High School Art Club painted them to look like a stone walls. More than 65 participants will be costume as first century Bethlehemites.  This is the fourth annual event.

The Walk is held on Friday November 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 and Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00.
