Support Staff Member Under Investigation

McAdoo, Schuylkill County- A Support Staff member in the Hazleton Area School District is under investigation for alleged inappropriate contact with five female students.
The I-Team has learned that State Police and the Hazleton Area School District are looking into the allegations which were made by the students at the McAdoo- Kelaryes Elementary-Middle School. The students say the man poked them and pulled their hair.
The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick spoke to the Superintendent of the School District, Dr. Frances Antonelli.
"Information was received by my office indicating this individual was in fact engaged in inappropriate contact with students specifically female students. Once we received that information we reported to our school police officer".
Dr. Antonelli added the contact was physical but not sexual "
The man in question is an employee of an agency contracted by the school district..
