Those conversations were allegedly part of a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.
Officers arrested Martinelli last week.
Eyewitness News Reporter Laurie Monteforte asked the Pocono Mountain School District spokesperson if the school allows teachers and students to connect on social media. The spokesperson sent Laurie links to more than thirty pages of handbook documents
Those documents do not appear to clearly state if students and teachers should have social media relationships.
One section reads "It is the responsibility of all users to carefully consider their behavior and what they place online when communicating OR "FRIENDING" ANY INDIVIDUAL."
